Phases of Contract Shipboard and Luxury Implementations
1. Calculation of Complex Systems
We are experts at diving into unconventional architectural layouts and transforming them into cost-optimized serial production runs.
2. Moisture-Resistant Processing
Projects for passenger ships may require specific processing – we adapt lacquers and board selection (e.g., marine plywood) to operational conditions.
3. Secure Structural Packaging
Finished office, passenger cabin, or ship corridor built-ins are securely dispatched via logistics straight to the selected European shipyard.
Key Logistics Answers (FAQ)
Serial equipment for ship cabins – do you offer support to shipyards?
Absolutely, our factory can prepare CNC-machined components for crew and passenger cabins for major shipyards and cruise ship builders. However, the size of investment orders is always individually analyzed in our facility and ultimately depends simply on the specifics and scale of the structure – upon a client's or developer's request, and with equal attention to every detail, we execute frame processing for select, single luxury villas or private yachts with special operational requirements from the shipowner.
How do you ensure wood lacquering repeatability?
It is a fully controlled application system in a sterile environment. Colors are monitored under special lighting in our quality control department at the final stage of the line.
Can we supply our own raw material for luxury production?
Yes. Numerous times in our operations, we have combined work with rare or specially contracted wood provided by external Investors for premium projects.
Do you have experience with fire-retardant coatings for marine applications?
We work with lacquer suppliers offering marine-certified fire-retardant finishes and can source appropriate products for specific project requirements. All technical requirements are discussed thoroughly during the project planning phase.
Can you produce furniture components for both passenger areas and crew quarters?
Yes. We have experience producing furniture for both public passenger areas (restaurants, lounges, cabins) and crew quarters on cruise ships and ferries. All components are produced to the technical specifications provided by the client or shipyard.
Rigorous Furniture Quality at Sea and in Luxury Real Estate Developments
The concentrated finishing and advanced complete outfitting of complex, narrow interiors on the most expensive luxury vessels – starting from mass built-ins for highly exploited passenger sleeping cabins on full-ocean steel cruise lines and ferries, and moving smoothly to the incredibly unique market of prestigious solid wood-decorated decks of exclusive, private ocean supersize yachts in the Marine Furniture industry – directly brings forth, behind its highly lucrative facade, technologically demanding, restrictively developed strength parameters. These come with a strict requirement of non-negotiable marine certification tolerances in the harsh area of continuous aggressive salt and moisture exposure in the air (including wood's exposure to mold), deck engine vibration shocks, right up to the marine fire retardancy certification of the surface coating and the core marine plywood or serial wooden frame used. With the power of our contract plant, we proactively meet these strict challenges in the process and provide Polish and foreign engineers and supervisors of luxury shipyards with full, repeatable marine engineering precision down to hundredths of a millimeter. We offer fully scalable, precise, specialized hard serial processing of heavily loaded, dense, heavy structural marine plywood and premium exotic or oak wood for superstructures, which ultimately, without a hint of fatigue, withstands decades of storms and the highest standards of the maritime environment.
Simultaneously, as a recognized manufacturer of MDF carpentry products with premium lacquering craftsmanship spanning many years, we have noticed a significant trend. The identical, technically unyielding, and directly translated exaggerated architectural marine finishing requirements translate neatly, like a ruler, for general Western European clients towards the modern, highly profitable sector of luxury projects and show real estate. This means the production of designer penthouse enclosures (developer show apartment catalogs), high-end paneling for public VIP SPA entry zones in five-star premium standards, including boardrooms for corporate headquarters and embassies, or high-end B2B office furniture (premium contract fit-outs solutions and joinery). Exclusive and highly paid world-class Swiss or Scandinavian top design architects value and consistently recommend the KONAR contract frame factory in discussions for a good reason – our well-staffed, powerful park of carpentry and numerical machines on the factory floor is strictly optimized from the ground up to flawlessly reproduce every element in thousands of repetitions. This allows our company to freely recreate any artistically modeled vision straight from the spatial dimensions of modern engineering CAD software into a production format, so that technologists cut and mill from a solid, heavy block of wood using precise spindle chisels the most unconventional, twisting, organically smooth shapes of furniture backrests, loungers, or MDF yacht pylons, without losing a second of serial scale. Our craftsmen smoothly pass the final product to the lacquerers' stations, immediately applying thick-layer barriers of deep, hard lacquers under the watchful eye of the light station control to ensure palette color safety. Finally, finished with flexible, chemically noble, water-resistant premium Polish resins, the product is fully and naturally exposed, ultimately securing the furniture piece as a legacy to last for generations of decades.
